I am proud daughter of the Most High King!

Art is such a vital part of who I am. Growing up with parents who owned an art gallery and frame shop has deeply inspired my passion for creativity.

I spent over 30 years in the bakery world, creating cakes and pastries! My journey began at 16 when my dad, a Safeway district manager, said, "Deb, you need a job! Would you like to work in the meat department or the bakery as a cake decorator?" I chose the bakery, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life! I’m often thankful for Karen, who put up with a bumbling, inexperienced teenager as she trained me in the trade!

After many difficult life changes, in 2010, I felt God nudging me toward a new adventure. I packed my spatula and embraced Christian missions with the local church and YWAM (Youth With A Mission)! While travelling, I shifted my focus from cake art to watercolour art, allowing my creativity to blossom in new ways. I’ve travelled to 15 countries in the last decade, and each experience has profoundly shaped my faith and perspective. My paper, pens and paint go with me, and recently I’m working on a new iPad, hoping to grow in digital art.
